Revenue Assurance
Maximize revenue and ensure accurate reporting with CHR’s Revenue Assurance program. As the industry leader for Revenue Assurance, CHR helps communications service providers (CSPs) recoup lost revenue. Our clients have recovered thousands of dollars a month and in some cases, tens of thousands of dollars with our comprehensive Revenue Assurance program. Our team of experts guarantees proper carrier access billing (CABs), identifies phantom traffic issues, and analyzes special circuit billing. Our full suite of services includes:
Carrier Access Billing System (CABs) (switched and special) Audit
Switched access reviews include the analysis of a sample month’s CABs bills to determine the accuracy of the billing system rate application and rate levels per the company’s intrastate and interstate access service tariffs. Special access reviews include the analysis of all special circuit access service requests or other special circuit order documentation to determine the accuracy of each circuit’s monthly rating per the company’s intrastate and interstate access service tariffs.
Reciprocal Compensation Billing System (local and wireless) Audit
Reciprocal compensation reviews include the analysis of a sample month’s bills to determine the accuracy of the billing system rate application and rate levels per the company’s interconnection agreements, including charges for interconnection facilities.
Switch Audit
CHR recommends a review of switch recordings to communications providers who may have recently installed or are in the process of installing a new switch; because the accuracy of switch recordings directly impacts subscriber billing and CABS revenue.
CABs Vendor Liaison
Provide billing system and access tariff expertise to insure accuracy in the development of the vendor’s CABs database with the client’s usage, network, and tariff information.
Access and Intercarrier Compensation Training
Provide detailed in-house training presentation covering intrastate and interstate switched and special access billing requirements. Additional training can be provided, covering reciprocal compensation billing requirements for the exchange of CLEC and wireless local traffic and the 92 record exchange process in the former Southwestern Bell five state (TX, AR, OK, KS, MO) region.
Billing Process Documentation
Develop documentation of the monthly CABs and Reciprocal Compensation billing data process flows.
Assistance with NECA/IXC/Wireless Carrier Audits or Billing Disputes
Provide billing system, access tariff, and interconnection agreement expertise to respond to billing disputes or carrier audit requests.
Collection/Dispute Assistance
If you are having difficulty with non-payment issues, CHR Solutions can help by utilizing our industry contracts and industry knowledge to work through the issues and help recommend processes to implement to help mitigate future disputes.
Factor Studies
CHR Solutions can analyze Local Calling Scopes and MTAs to help determine the validity of factors associated with interconnection and/or wireless termination agreements. For IXC usage, we can compare known volumes of usage for a specific carrier to help verify the accuracy of the carrier provided factors and help to resolve disputes.
