Customer Care and Billing is the heart Martin VMS brought to you by CHR Solutions, Inc., initial USOC-based software solution. The system is easily customized to accommodate your needs with table driven applications. It is capable of accommodating multiple billing companies or billing cycles within one system. You have the capability to create flexible calling plans for your subscribers using the flexible calling plan system. Optional calling plans are built using tables and can be customized to create almost any calling plan imaginable.
The Bill Computation program is used to calculate customer bills, and has the flexibility to run a series of billing related programs. The process will calculate each bill based on billable call records, recurring charges, and non-recurring charges. A bill register report is produced showing all charges for each billing account number, with totals by exchange and system. After the amounts of the current bills are calculated, the program updates the customers' balance history and then generates bills to be printed and remitted to the customers.
Permanent records of customer balance history are maintained on the system. After customer bills are calculated at the end of a billing cycle, their history files are updated. This history can be viewed in Inquiry in various display formats. The cash payment application and notice criteria have unlimited options with use of this history.
With our initial USOC-based software solution, your customers will have no problems understanding their statements or the amount they need to remit. You have flexible statement printing options. You don't even have to print your own statements if you don't want to. You can send files to an outside printing company if you choose.
Using the Inquiry system, you can have instant access to detailed customer information. You can view contact information, billing information, past invoices, unbilled toll usage, credit history and much more. You can also customize the screen so that the default information is always what is most important for your job function.
CHR Solutions Inc.’s initial USOC-based software solution allows for user-defined service order flow. Service orders are built using functions, nodes and parts so that you can fully customize your service orders to the services you offer your subscribers. You have the ability to automatically load specific charges based on the type of service order you are doing. This saves time for your Customer Service Representatives and reduces the chance for billing errors. Service Order integrates with our automated provisioning product, OASIS, allowing you to automatically provision specific services in your switch.
With our initial USOC-based software solution, you can enjoy fast and efficient message processing. The system is capable of processing 5 million messages per hour. Along with message processing we accommodate your needs for switch or device polling and call rating. Records processed through the OSS message processing system can be used to process your CABS bills as well. It is fully integrated with our CABS solution.
You have access to many reports with CHR Solutions Inc.’s initial USOC-based software solution. Take advantage of our standard reporting capabilities or create your own reports using our flexible Report Writer system.
One of the most important reports generated in the system is the bill register. The bill register gives you detailed information about your monthly billing and prints totals for each exchange, including an overall system total. The system also has functionality allowing you to create and automatic bill register journal entry for accounting purposes.
All Report Writer reports as well as most standard reports create source files that you can use in other programs such as service order to automate large processes.
