3 Day (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

This class introduces relational database concepts and Structured Query Language (SQL) in combination with Martin OMNIA data. This introductory SQL class provides easy-to-understand SQL instructions and allows you to practice what you learn using the Microsoft ® SQL query tools and your existing knowledge of Martin OMNIA. We will introduce the main components of a relational database and how to write SQL to access and manipulate Martin OMNIA information contained within the database. You will learn to write basic SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE SQL statements in a well structured and efficient way to perform basic queries and maintain Martin OMNIA data as well as learn to understand the concept of views and your role in reporting data.

Have you ever considered using the Martin OMNIA taxing engine to bill fees or surcharges? Do you have questions about how to create new taxes, change rates, add exemptions, or simply how a tax was applied to an account? Then, this is the training class for you. We will cover the tables involved in setting up new taxes, the work required to create and apply tax exemptions, and instill a basic understanding of how products and pricing, taxes and service locations work together to get your taxes on the invoice. (This class is geared toward Martin OMNIA taxes. BillSoft taxing will not be covered during this class.)

Complete several hands-on activities to identify the processes and procedures to locate the data you need to manage your business and analyze your customers. This advanced training class will demonstrate the process to look into several specific tables and views and step through the process of identifying how tables are joined together.

Offering a hands-on approach to utilizing Martin OASIS Engineering and ACAD tools, this course will take users from the basics of Martin OASIS Engineering through advanced work orders and drafting techniques.  You will learn how to utilize AutoCAD functions for reporting, making custom maps, and distributing maps and accompanying data throughout the company

You will learn how to create, modify, and name your CABS information reports firsthand. You will also see how to influence the outcome of your report using the many tools and options present within the Report Writer application.

Apply the techniques you learn during this training class to interpret data contained in your existing switched access routes.  Participants will become familiar with the different types of routes identified in access tariffs, create new routes based on information associated with their company’s network, and make table entries in order to bill the transport charges correctly in Martin OMNIA CABS.
